Beaded in-frame cabinetry with classic beaded doors is finished in a striking high-gloss red, paired with stained character oak to highlight the natural warmth of the timber. Antique bronze cup handles, knobs, exposed butt hinges, and taps reinforce the kitchen’s traditional roots, while the mixed-plank butcher-block worktop introduces an eclectic edge. Decorative cornicing, scribed panelling, dovetailed drawers, and bespoke cutlery inserts further elevate the design, resulting in a kitchen that feels layered, tactile, and unapologetically crafted. Within the main kitchen, an integrated fridge/freezer and eye-level oven with warming drawer frame the gas hob and bespoke canopy hood. Underneath dedicated cutlery and cooking utensil storage is found for ease and ergonomics. Opposite, the island accommodates an integrated sink, pullout bins, and an integrated dishwasher, with generous pantry storage concealed on its reverse. Beyond the main space, an adjoining room extends the kitchen’s functionality with additional pantry storage, a Belfast sink, expansive worktop areas for countertop appliances, and a discreetly concealed stacked washer and dryer, keeping the main kitchen calm, uncluttered, and focused. The standout feature of this kitchen is its truly bespoke butcher-block worktop, crafted from various species of rustic hardwoods including oak, ash, poplar, and walnut, finished with a traditional ogee edge. The varied tones, expressive grain patterns, burrs, and catspaws create an eclectic surface that rewards both the eye and the touch. The island also includes a white quartz lap to blend with the undermounted ceramic sink. The completed kitchen is a bold yet harmonious composition, rich in colour, texture, and detail. The result is a space that feels deeply personal, visually captivating, and designed to endure design trends and daily life alike.

Our customer chose solid oak worktops with an upstand, which match the two floating shelves and the oak herringbone flooring. It gives a lovely traditional look with the shaker doors and belfast sink, but with a very up-to-date feel in the pink and blue.

Designed and built entirely bespoke for a client, this in-frame shaker kitchen, crafted from solid-hardwood Walnut. Every element has been designed with longevity and beauty in mind, using only the highest-quality materials and traditional techniques. Cabinet doors are tongue-and-groove joined, fastened by exposed butt hinges. Drawers are dovetailed in construction and soft-close. Both are fitted with polished, stainless-steel handles. The cornicing along the top of the cabinets is also made of solid Walnut, and the toe-kick is stainless steel as well. The island features custom-curved painted cabinets, and both the countertop and custom dining room table and benches are made from solid Walnut with a Maple Inlay. Butcherblock cutting boards and decorative elements are made from the same material combination. This level of longevity and understated luxury can only be achieved when produced by the highest standard of craftsmanship by hand.

Here is a kitchen with colour and texture combined to achieve a beautiful modern country look. With 2pac painted shaker doors and bamboo bench tops it really has an impact on the room. Storage was not compromised in any way with every cabinet revealing a clever storage feature.

We designed this cosy grey family kitchen with reclaimed timber and elegant brass finishes, to work better with our clients’ style of living. We created this new space by knocking down an internal wall, to greatly improve the flow between the two rooms. Our clients came to us with the vision of creating a better functioning kitchen with more storage for their growing family. We were challenged to design a more cost-effective space after the clients received some architectural plans which they thought were unnecessary. Storage and open space were at the forefront of this design. Previously, this space was two rooms, separated by a wall. We knocked through to open up the kitchen and create a more communal family living area. Additionally, we knocked through into the area under the stairs to make room for an integrated fridge freezer. The kitchen features reclaimed iroko timber throughout. The wood is reclaimed from old school lab benches, with the graffiti sanded away to reveal the beautiful grain underneath. It’s exciting when a kitchen has a story to tell. This unique timber unites the two zones, and is seen in the worktops, homework desk and shelving. Our clients had two growing children and wanted a space for them to sit and do their homework. As a result of the lack of space in the previous room, we designed a homework bench to fit between two bespoke units. Due to lockdown, the clients children had spent most of the year in the dining room completing their school work. They lacked space and had limited storage for the children’s belongings. By creating a homework bench, we gave the family back their dining area, and the units on either side are valuable storage space. Additionally, the clients are now able to help their children with their work whilst cooking at the same time. This is a hugely important benefit of this multi-functional space. The beautiful tiled splashback is the focal point of the kitchen. The combination of the teal and vibrant yellow into the muted colour palette brightens the room and ties together all of the brass accessories. Golden tones combined with the dark timber give the kitchen a cosy ambiance, creating a relaxing family space. The end result is a beautiful new family kitchen-diner. The transformation made by knocking through has been enormous, with the reclaimed timber and elegant brass elements the stars of the kitchen. We hope that it will provide the family with a warm and homely space for many years to come.
