A timeless Shaker style kitchen in Pangbourne, Berkshire, designed for our long standing property developer client, Bentier Homes. The hand painted kitchen was designed and installed by KCA in October 2017. Using Daval's British made furniture in a combination of Cashmere and Truffle tones, Siletone worktops in Yukon and integrated Siemens appliances and Quooker tap. The open plan kitchen diner has been designed to suit modern social family life.

The wall mounted range hood and freestanding cooker compliment the shaker style kitchen perfectly. The clients found a butcher's block on castors that goes with the rustic idea perfectly while giving them all the modern functions.

The kitchen was retrofitted with new cabinets, new benchtop with new bronze handles. The high wall feature colour is the same as the hallway feature wall colour to ensure continuity and also to provide interest and a backdrop to the space. The subway tile and bronze button mosaic dado line create an attractive textural interest.

An extra oven and hob are great (if you have the space!) for when the Aga is off during Summer months. Simple cup handles compliment the traditional styling of the cabinets.

To seamlessly blend traditional charm and modern aspects we used modern materials to upgrade the existing kitchen cabinetry and featured Stefano Orlatti's Matt Antique Brass Handles.

We went of a white on white look with gold accents. The gold was introduced in handles and tapware only.
