This kitchen / dining area presents a soft furniture in terms of shapes and colours; the shaker style cabinets, the upholstered bench and the floor are in very soft and light range of beige, put in evidence the warm wood of the table and standing bench.

The peninsula is made up of 3 large pan drawers with a bin unit the very closest handle you can see on the left. This is your prep area immediately opposite the sink.

Here, a beautifully crafted Shaws of Darwen double bowl ceramic sink sits proudly, paired with the elegant Milano Elizabeth traditional bridge mixer tap in chrome with white porcelain accents. The sink setup is bathed in natural light by day, and gently illuminated by wall lights in the evening. We also included LED lighting underneath the cabinetry. As previously mentioned, the peninsula holds the second sink, a rounded Shaws of Darwen mirroring the gentle curves of the surrounding worktops, adding cohesion and softness. Adding further to the functional design is a discreet integrated recycling bin for practical waste management, while a functional corner unit makes use of every inch to house the client’s treasured dinnerware. The final flourish to this timeless kitchen is the stunning marbled-style worktop, chosen for its delicate grey veining that brings a sense of authenticity and understated elegance to the space. The surface offers an authentic aesthetic that complements the traditional cabinetry and heritage-inspired colour palette, and the classic ogee profile edge brings a further gentle curve. The original kitchen in this home came with vintage flour bins and a safe! the gorgeous but very old duchess that separated the dining room from the kitchen was removed, creating this new open plan space. In keeping with the traditional style, we chose a shaker style cupboards and handles, and white subway tiles. Open shelving and glass cabinets show off a display of collected antiques and ceramics, the pretty colours complimenting the white kitchen. The warm grey of the Caesarstone bench top gives this traditional style kitchen the modern edge. In Designers Guild fabric, the roman blind was installed a year after the dining curtains were hung and the Laura Ashley crystal pendants were the finishing touch to this kitchen.

A timeless Shaker style kitchen in Pangbourne, Berkshire, designed for our long standing property developer client, Bentier Homes. The hand painted kitchen was designed and installed by KCA in October 2017. Using Daval's British made furniture in a combination of Cashmere and Truffle tones, Siletone worktops in Yukon and integrated Siemens appliances and Quooker tap. The open plan kitchen diner has been designed to suit modern social family life.
