With three active children, this family required a space that was as functional as it was beautiful, not forgetting the importance of it feeling inviting. The resulting home references the classic Queenslander in combination with a refined mix of modern Hampton elements.

A custome made 1200mm wide Ilve oven further enhances the unique deign of the kitchen, and represents the clients true love for cooking an entertaining! The kitchen has been designed with a the Nobilia seamless handles, and provides a very linear and minimalist visual, which complement the stunning timber ceiling and tiles floor.

Large kitchens with a large family that all get involved with cooking on regular occasions means there needs to be a large focus on zones, active vs passive over the very old and traditional thinking of the working triangle. By separating the zones and providing large preparation space between appliances the homes regular cooks could do so without interference or hindrance.
