This residence was design for a young professional couple who love the location but had outgrown the cottage on the existing site. The clients chose to do an extension to the cottage to maintain the streetscape and significance of the existing building. A split level extension wrapped around a northern courtyard and expansive tree top views are important design elements of this build. Fabulous recycled bricks are used in the new build to reference the old cottage it adjoins.
