V Residence is an inner city, suburban extension that responds to the steep sloping site. The design consists of two stacked volumes (a basement garage + cellar are cut into the slope) of contrasting materials with considered positions of glazing to the elevations. The interior spaces; both private and public are positioned around a staggered collection of gardens and courtyards.
