Outside - first few options nice for space down driveway.
Sleepout - like the feel of openness and connection to garden. Is it worth reconsidering not having bifold doors that open to the back garden on the right? Love seeing the sky. Are skylights worth considering despite the price? Lovely to see all the way through, but probably not worth sacrificing the opportunity to use half the space for a bedroom.
Sleepout dining - could we do French doors on the backyard side and bifold doors at the driveway side to get a similar effect of creating visual flow through this space and connecting the backyard with the driveway area better? Or is it too costly / would the effect not work given the smaller scale?
Sleepout bedroom - like this simple cosy vibe. Would have feet of bed by window, rather than head of bed.
Pantry / Laundry - lovely and tidy in cupboards and nice to have space for a basket too (even though we might need to put it higher).
Kitchen - really like the timber grain benchtop.
Kitchen - timber bench top with white cupboards, butlers sink, breakfast bar, cabinetry built in around fridge, bright with lots of windows. Lightwell over kitchen!
Kitchen - pull out cupboard - Blum drawers.
Kitchen - could have a lightwell over the length of the galley.
Kitchen - we have three lampshades like this that would be cool to incorporate (though ours are brass coloured).
Kitchen - would a ceiling like this be a good option?
Kitchen / Porch - match lining ceiling and long bright space.
Porch - feel is like we might want in the back porch. Recessed ceiling lights are neat. Blinds nice in how they're unobtrusive.
Porch - vibe! Also - could paint floor in kitchen and porch? Utility etc - making a mud-friendly and easy-to-clean space.
Porch - different aesthetic but good space use and nice with windows / plants!
Porch - covered storage seat in the left of the photo. Something similar on the left of doorway into laundry?
Study space - clothes airer.
Study space - look and feel of the built-in desk and sofa, and general vibe with timber and light. Cohesive and cosy. Could do this in the existing laundry space - devan would go width of room and desk under window. Could we fit built in cupboards / shelves in here too?
Study space - again, like the feel.
Study space - feel for what we want (though we already have a desk!). Roller blind as sun screen too.
Study space - inspiration for built-in sofa/bed.
Study space - bed nook.
Study space - recessed shelf to go by kid's bed for hot chocolate and snacks! Extra fancy if it had a built in charging station.
Study space - like the idea of bookshelves above the cushions / sofa / bed.
Study space - like the look of the white and ply bookshelves.
Study space - would we prefer bunks by the desk? (Rather than shelves or cupboards.)
Study space - one lining option.
Study space - tidy ladder idea.
Study space - black metal ladder.
Study space - the ladder could swing around the corner to go up to the attic from being on the wall.
Study space - another ladder option (and the desk setup!).
Study space - ideal balustrade and ladder option! Really nice vibe.
Attic - balustrade style.
Attic - another balustrade option.
Attic - alternative (though less preferred) balustrade option.
Attic - could we make a cosy space for reading in the lower part?
Attic - like the angled door to right, would be great to partition off large upper storage area from bottom somehow.
Attic - cupboards are indicative of how door partitions could look.
Attic - curtain could be a partition option between upper and lower sections to keep it looking tidy.
Attic - lining and vibe is what we're keen to shoot for.
Attic - storage rail for non-seasonal clothes, fur coats etc.
Attic - looking at this shows we'd prefer raw timber beams not white painted ones.
Attic - ideal finish for the exposed rafters.
Throughout house - likely what timber on doors will look like when stripped.
