I dunno, maybe I’ve the whole idea of eco-friendly homes all wrong - but I kinda thought that touching the earth lightly was a good place to start. I’m seeing too many vast spaces in most of these pictures, and left assuming that most of these houses are somewhat excessive in their footprint. Doesn’t this compromise their energy efficiency?
Perhaps they double as dance halls to subsidise their building and services costs...

It's smart to use energy-efficient appliances. It begins with LED lighting fixtures and even airconditioning units with power inverters. What would the technology of tomorrow bring?
