Thank you for your comments. Yes, I absolutely briefed the painter. As well, I edited the available furniture & accessories to use, and recommended the style and colour of the new sofa, ottoman, headboard & valance that needed to be purchased. Often we own enough to make an impact in our homes without purchasing new. It is having a fresh eye, and, of course, my training and experience as a professional interior designer, that can make all the difference.
