A traditional Japanese soaking tub made from Hinoki wood was selected as the focal point of the bathroom. It not only adds visual warmth to the space, but it infuses a cedar aroma into the air.

Custom cabinetry, mirror frames, trim and railing was built around the Asian inspired theme of this large spa-like master bath. A custom deck with custom railing was built to house the large Japanese soaker bath. The tub deck and countertops are a dramatic granite which compliments the cherry cabinetry and stone vessels.

This La Mesa Master Bathroom Remodel was remodeled to give a unique modern look. A lightwood floating vanity was installed along with new porcelain wood tile. The shower walls have a light wood porcelain tile walls and glass liner. The shower head and valves are modern and detachable to be used as a hand shower as well. We added both a rainshower head and an adjustable shower head because there was the space, and yes please. The linearly textured porcelain tile laid vertically gives visual height to the shower, which when hit with water becomes rich, dark and dramatic. The homeowners' dreamed of an Ofuro style soaking tub. We worked together to make that a reality. Our employees custom milled a surround of Ofuro cedar for the soaking tub. The steps are removable for cleaning and to lessen the occurrence of trapped moisture. The tiled shower is sloped towards a curtain drain. The shower boasts a tiled bench, niche and wand with a rain shower head.
