Soft shades of pastel pink and creamy neutrals layered with many textures adorn this pretty nursery. Parents wanted it to feel serene for their baby and themselves.

Kids are often our most difficult clients to please! Why, you ask? Because we are up against unbridled creativity. So, we are forced to regress. Think like a child - like anything is possible if you can dream it. Dressers that open to reveal secret passage ways, hidden play-lofts in ceilings, beds tucked into alcoves, chalkboard hallways and headboards that double as toy chests. These are a few of our favorite things. Don't we wish all our clients let us think like kids!

A colorful farmyard was the theme for this little boy’s nursery. The trompe l’oeil mural painted on all four walls and the ceiling was designed to be visually stimulating but pastoral and calming as well. Light fluffy clouds hang in the clear blue sky, while various friendly farm animals roam the idyllic countryside and reside in the barn. The furniture was not only selected for its color palate but also to grow with the child.

Family bonus room with slanted ceilings. Custom built ins and daybed create a great place to hang out with the kids and a comfortable space for an overnight guest.

Our contemporary-meets-traditional nursery fits perfectly in our 1930s home and offers plenty of handmade projects to inspire. When we didn't know the sex of our new baby, we opted for a gender-neutral baby animal-themed space. After meeting our little girl, coral was brought in as an accent color through the curtains, bedding and artwork. Handmade projects include: custom glider cushions, a made over changing table, felt butterfly mobile, hand painted wall art, matching crib bedding, fabric pennant, coral curtains, fabric lined bookshelf and baby clothing art.
