The theme that this owner conveyed for their bathroom was “Boho Garden Shed” To achieve that, space between the bedroom and bath that was being used as a walk thru closet was captured to expand the square footage. The room went from 44 sq. ft to 96, allowing for a separate soaking tub and walk in shower. New closet cabinets were added to the bedroom to make up for the loss. An existing HVAC run located inside the original closet had to be incorporated into the design, so a small closet accessed by a barn style door was built out and separates the two custom barnwood vanities in the new bathroom space. A jeweled green-blue hexagon tile installed in a random pattern achieved the boho look that the owner was seeking. Combining it with slate look black floor tile, rustic barnwood, and mixed finishes on the fixtures, the bathroom achieved the garden shed aspect of the concept.

Part of a larger re modelling project, this en-suite bathroom was one of two new bathrooms and bedroom we created in a large un used games room area. After we completed the main construction phase this room was fitted with a Bette steel enamelled bath and shower. a recessed wall unit was formed using a reclaimed window sash, the vanity is a reclaimed and re tasked unit. Our San Francisco studio designed this stunning bathroom with beautiful grey tones to create an elegant, sophisticated vibe. We chose glass partitions to separate the shower area from the soaking tub, making it feel more open and expansive. The large mirror in the vanity area also helps maximize the spacious appeal of the bathroom. Our clients, a couple living in a 200-year-old period house in Hertfordshire, wanted to refurbish their ensuite bathroom with a calm, contemporary spa-style bath and shower room leading from their main bedroom. The room has low vaulted ceilings and original windows so the challenge was to design every aspect to suit the unusual shape. This was particularly important for the shower enclosure, for which the screen had to be made completely bespoke to perfectly fit with the different angles and ceiling heights. To complement the original door, we chose anti-slip porcelain flooring tiles with a timber-look finish which was laid-down above under-floor heating. Pure white was chosen as the only décor colour for the bathroom, with a white bath, white basins, white herringbone shower tiles and a white standalone bespoke vanity, designed and handmade by Simon Taylor Furniture. This features natural polished oak open shelving at the base, which is also used as an accent bath shelf. The brushed satin brass brassware was suggested and sourced by us to provide a stylish contrast and all light fittings are satin brass as well. The standalone vanity features three deep drawers with open shelving beneath and a Miami White worktop within which are two rectangular basins and industrial-style wall taps. Above each basin is a large swivel mirror on an integrated brass mount, a design concept that is both attractive and functional, whilst allowing natural light into the bathroom. Additional shelving was created on either side of the room to conceal plumbing and to showcase all brassware. A wall-hung white WC adds a floating effect and features a flush brass flushing mechanism and a white towel rail adds the finishing touch.

The guest bathroom has the most striking matte glass patterned tile on both the backsplash and in the bathtub/shower combination. A floating wood vanity has a white quartz countertop and mid-century modern sconces on either side of the round mirror.

The owner of this top floor bathroom was looking for a fresh black and white look without the imposing, long bath. He also wanted to make a feature out of the fireplace. The units on the left house the boiler and a washing machine but the storage inside was not useful. We stripped the room and rebuilt the storage to fit a washing machine, drier, access to the existing boiler and some practical storage that can be removed to access the boiler. The fabulous blue floor tiles brighten up the room and we painted the fireplace black to help it stand out in the corner.

It was a fun remodel. We started with a blank canvas and went through several designs until the homeowner decided. We all agreed, it was the perfect design. We removed the old shower and gave the owner a spa-like seating area. We installed a Steamer in the shower, with a marble slab bench seat. We installed a Newport shower valve with a handheld sprayer. Four small LED lights surrounding a 24" Rain-Shower in the ceiling. We installed two top-mounted sink-bowls, with wall-mounted faucets.

An updated main, guest bathroom that is not only stylish but functional with built in storage.
