This Project started by the owner needing to replace a tub with a walk in shower equipped with bench, handheld shower option and assistance bars. The foldout teak shower bench makes it easy for the owner to help his wife getting in and out of the shower

Walls with thick plaster arches and simple tile designs feel very natural and earthy in the warm Southern California sun. Terra cotta floor tiles are stained to mimic very old tile inside and outside in the Spanish courtyard shaded by a 'new' old olive tree. The outdoor plaster and brick fireplace has touches of antique Indian and Moroccan items. An outdoor garden shower graces the exterior of the master bath with freestanding white tub- while taking advantage of the warm Ojai summers. The open kitchen design includes all natural stone counters of white marble, a large range with a plaster range hood and custom hand painted tile on the back splash. Wood burning fireplaces with iron doors, great rooms with hand scraped wide walnut planks in this delightful stay cool home. Stained wood beams, trusses and planked ceilings along with custom creative wood doors with Spanish and Indian accents throughout this home gives a distinctive California Exotic feel. This moroccan style bathroom showcases a beautiful custom cement trough sink layered on a solid oak floating countertop. The floor tile is a terra-cotta clay tile in the shape of stars and crosses.

This jewel of a powder room started with our homeowner's obsession with William Morris "Strawberry Thief" wallpaper. After assessing the Feng Shui, we discovered that this bathroom was in her Wealth area. So, we really went to town! Glam, luxury, and extravagance were the watchwords. We added her grandmother's antique mirror, brass fixtures, a brick floor, and voila! A small but mighty powder room.

Here we have the first story bathroom, as you can see we have a wooden double sink vanity with this beautiful oval mirror. The wall mounted sinks on the white subway backsplash give it this sleek aesthetic. Instead of going for the traditional floor tile, we opted to go with brick as the floor.
