We created a modern and fun family bathroom. Slatted wall panelling and Mmcrocement were used against a peach feature tile in the shower and a gorgeous terrazzo tile on splashback and floor. Black accents were used throughout.

High end finishes like marble, glass and gold fixtures really elevated this bathroom’s previously “coHage-y” look. The space was expanded by pushing into a bathroom on an adjoining wall, ( See POW-der Room project). The other bathroom scaled down to become a powder room, leaving ample space for this primary bath to become the elegant retreat that the owner wanted.

This master bathroom cabinetry was updated. The sink section was "built up" so that it met today's height standards, new granite, sinks, backsplash, and plumbing fixtures were done. The make-up desk was kept at the lower setting to allow for a desk type feel. Cabinets were not changed.

The bathroom accessories towel bar, robe hook, etc. are Aylesbury satin bronze by Brasstech, Inc. The floor tile is Carrara Thassos marble mosaic by Viviano Comfort. The shower head is Aylesbury satin bronze by Brasstech, Inc. The shower floor tile is a Carrara marble hex from Floor and Decor. The tile on the walls is Cafe field tile in milk with a gloss finish by Walker Zanger.

Upon moving to a new home, this couple chose to convert two small guest baths into one large luxurious space including a Japanese soaking tub and custom glass shower with rainfall spout. Two floating vanities in a walnut finish topped with composite countertops and integrated sinks flank each wall. Due to the pitched walls, Barbara worked with both an industrial designer and mirror manufacturer to design special clips to mount the vanity mirrors, creating a unique and modern solution in a challenging space. The mix of travertine floor tiles with glossy cream wainscotting tiles creates a warm and inviting feel in this bathroom. Glass fronted shelving built into the eaves offers extra storage for towels and accessories. A oil-rubbed bronze finish lantern hangs from the dramatic ceiling while matching finish sconces add task lighting to the vanity areas. In this addition, Ten Key Home & Kitchen Remodels added significant space to this client's home. The guest bathroom provides accessibility and style, with a transitional vessel sink, glass door cabinetry in the head knocker, and a handlebar by the toilet.

The family living in this shingled roofed home on the Peninsula loves color and pattern. At the heart of the two-story house, we created a library with high gloss lapis blue walls. The tête-à-tête provides an inviting place for the couple to read while their children play games at the antique card table. As a counterpoint, the open planned family, dining room, and kitchen have white walls. We selected a deep aubergine for the kitchen cabinetry. In the tranquil master suite, we layered celadon and sky blue while the daughters' room features pink, purple, and citrine.

This is one of three bathrooms completed in this home. A hall bathroom upstairs, once served as the "Kids' Bath". Polished marble and glass tile gives this space a luxurious, high-end feel, while maintaining a warm and inviting, spa-like atmosphere. Modern, yet marries well with the traditional charm of the home.
