Bathroom Renovation - Brighton 1

Traditional Bathroom, Melbourne

The view from the hallway is just as lovely as the bathroom itself. The mirror is the centre piece, with references to antiques and an old world feel. The main style was influenced by the chic parisian apartments with luxurious finishes and decorative elements. Tapware is the owners original phoenix tapware, which we had brushed down to its base material of brass. What we have is a lovely, worn look, a living element in the way that brass will patina over time. Cabinet doors were kept shaker to enhance the geometry and traditional style. Three types of tiles were used in this renovation, adding dimension and warmth. Handmade Spanish tiles hand laid with white grout provides a beautiful texture, contrasting beautifully with the carrara marble look porcelain floor tiles, and warm grey high variation wall tiles. A layered design, brought together cohesively with colour, texture and stunning finishes.
