Romance Master Suite
Things soar in the Master Suite, where Jane created an ornate decorative plaster ceiling with extra-wide molding handsomely framing the design where a capiz-shell chandelier punctuates the center, tinkling in the breeze when the room’s French doors are left open. “The best place for a wonderful ceiling is the master bedroom” says Jane. “My clients love to lie in bed and look up at it.” For a touch of unexpected, Jane paired a shiny embroidered silk coverlet with a cowhide rug and warm walls of a hue between chartreuse and lemon.

The "Luster of the Pearl” combined the allure of clean lines and redefined traditional silhouettes with texture and opulence. The color palette was fashion-inspired with unexpected color combinations like smokey violet and tiger-eye gold backed with metallic and warm neutrals.
Our design included cosmetic reconstruction of the fireplace, mosaic tile improvements to the kitchen, artistic custom wall finishes, and introduced new materials to the Portland market.

Our St. Pete studio was hired to transform a dated primary suite into a more usable, functional space. We reconfigured the bathroom and closet space to make the floor plan more practical for everyday use. In the bedroom, we went with a classic black and white palette with a large, comfortable bed and classy leather chairs. We added black patterned curtains to flank the beautiful windows offering stunning views outside. We also added a stylish fireplace to add a touch of warmth to the bedroom. The bathroom was given a soothing palette with beautiful herringbone-shaped tiles. A freestanding tub adds a luxurious vibe to the bathroom.

Musso Design Group
Upstairs, the bedrooms maintain much of the neutrals found on the first level as well as the natural wood and fabrics. In the master bedroom, a four-poster bed with gunmetal finish and Ralph Lauren fabric dominates the room. Other items were repurposed like the bed’s foot bench, which was originally a narrow table intended to sit behind a sofa. Since the table fit the space requirements, Musso’s team shortened the legs and added a cushion. Carrying the wood theme to the second level, three Moroccan bowls that Musso had purchased on a trip to North Africa in 2011, were altered by the addition of round mirrors and hung on the wall.
