This striking bespoke wine cellar, designed by Studio212 Ltd within a New England & Cape Cod–inspired home, transforms the under-stair area into a feature of both elegance and practicality. Custom oak joinery with integrated LED lighting highlights the bottles, while framed glass doors give the installation a gallery-like quality. The layout includes cross shelves for horizontal bottle storage, open shelving for spirits, and a dedicated wine fridge for temperature-sensitive collections. This design maximises space while elevating the entrance hall into a showcase — blending craftsmanship, lifestyle, and architectural detailing in one refined statement.

Abbott-Wade StaircasesAbbott-Wade Staircases
Location: Bury St Edmunds, Norfolk Designer: Colin Campbell Overview: This stylish staircase renovation showcases the perfect blend of brushed stainless steel, clear glass, and the warm tones of natural oak—bringing a modern yet inviting character to this Norfolk home. Category: A beautifully executed staircase refurbishment by Abbott-Wade, this project transforms an existing structure using expert cladding techniques. Key components, including newel posts and balustrades, have been replaced to create the impression of a brand-new staircase—without the need for full structural replacement. Style: Contemporary in design, the staircase enhances the sense of space and light throughout the hallway and stairs. The sleek materials were carefully selected to align with the home’s overall aesthetic, ensuring both cohesion and visual impact. Timber Choice: Pre-finished Natural Oak brings warmth and elegance to this staircase. All timber parts are expertly finished in-house by Abbott-Wade’s skilled spray team to achieve a flawless, furniture-quality appearance. This attention to detail is vital for a staircase that sits at the heart of the home. Newel Posts & Caps: Engineered oak square newel bases are paired with cylindrical stainless steel baluster posts, combining natural and industrial elements for a sophisticated look. Handrail Style: A round-profile brushed stainless steel handrail offers both safety and style, completing the clean and contemporary feel. Balustrade: Toughened 10mm clear glass panels are securely fixed using stainless steel clamps, allowing natural light to flow freely while adding a touch of modern refinement. The combination of materials ensures harmony with other interior fixtures. Treads: The original treads and risers have been updated with a soft, warm carpet for a comfortable, underfoot feel—balancing the modern elements with everyday practicality. In Summary: This Bury St Edmunds staircase renovation achieves a stunning union of stainless steel, glass, and oak—delivering a sleek, modern upgrade that enhances light, space, and style throughout the home.

A Redwood wine wall with the capacity to store over 400 bottles. The ridged shelving of this wine wall beautifully shows off the labels of the bottles. Our client is an avid collector of a New Zealand wine, because of this we designed custom shelving to showcase the specific years. The temperature controlled wine wall, located in Chislehurst, London has been connected to Google for voice activation, enabling the user to set the ambience of the space, whilst also being able to monitor the atmospheric conditions from a phone.
