This striking bespoke wine cellar, designed by Studio212 Ltd within a New England & Cape Cod–inspired home, transforms the under-stair area into a feature of both elegance and practicality.
Custom oak joinery with integrated LED lighting highlights the bottles, while framed glass doors give the installation a gallery-like quality. The layout includes cross shelves for horizontal bottle storage, open shelving for spirits, and a dedicated wine fridge for temperature-sensitive collections.

A beautifully executed staircase refurbishment by Abbott-Wade, this project transforms an existing structure using expert cladding techniques. Key components, including newel posts and balustrades, have been replaced to create the impression of a brand-new staircase—without the need for full structural replacement.

Contemporary in design, the staircase enhances the sense of space and light throughout the hallway and stairs. The sleek materials were carefully selected to align with the home’s overall aesthetic, ensuring both cohesion and visual impact.

Engineered oak square newel bases are paired with cylindrical stainless steel baluster posts, combining natural and industrial elements for a sophisticated look.

Balustrade:
Toughened 10mm clear glass panels are securely fixed using stainless steel clamps, allowing natural light to flow freely while adding a touch of modern refinement. The combination of materials ensures harmony with other interior fixtures.
Treads:
The original treads and risers have been updated with a soft, warm carpet for a comfortable, underfoot feel—balancing the modern elements with everyday practicality.

The temperature controlled wine wall, located in Chislehurst, London has been connected to Google for voice activation, enabling the user to set the ambience of the space, whilst also being able to monitor the atmospheric conditions from a phone.
