Bloodlines Abstract Art

Contemporary Living Room, Denver

K. B. Hansel Interiors loved the look of these streamlined, yet comfortable Baker chairs against the dry stacked local sandstone fireplace. She chose the textures in Bloodlines that mimic the Anasazi dry stacking method of the fireplace. She accented the room with sleek, contemporary pottery made by her husband, Barry Hansel. The abstract representation of Bloodlines that denotes blended heritage adds a touch of warmth, like the fire in the hearth, to warm up the coldest Colorado days. David O. Marlow photographed the room.
