The runners I added here allow the beauty of the hardwood floor and its borders and angles to show. Family room furniture was configured to show the fireplace as the client requested since it was such a focal point she wanted it to show from the foyer. There are 2 designer rugs that sit at a corner to each other to soften the space and add a lovely pattern. On the walls, upper molding squares were added to help dress the foyer and to frame the new candle sconces on the wall. Photographed by John Magor
