Perennial Garden Consultants
This desert planting design showcases some of the most heat and drought-tolerant native plants for the Mojave Desert. Penstemon parryi, Melampodium leucanthemum, Tetraneuris acaulis, and Penstemon eatonii bloom among boulders, grasses and succulent plants, while attracting a myriad of pollinators. Vines have just begun to cover the stark walls with greenery and blooms.

Transformed and transported this Desert Mid-Century Modern from Palm Springs straight to this North Scottsdale home. Every detail was highly considered, even down to the customer made breeze block to create this on-trend screen wall. Everything is new, all plants, cactus, agave, succulents, plants, and lighting. A very large thank you to our incredible client. We are thankful to have been part of this special project!

Inspired by the desire to connect the cozy contemporary interior with the natural desert landscape, this project created an inviting outdoor kitchen and pool area. With split-faced limestone cladding, a gray-toned countertop, and large-format vein-cut limestone pavers, the design seamlessly bridged the indoor and outdoor spaces. Windowed cutouts on the feature wall framed picturesque sunsets, offering an open feel while ensuring privacy. Through innovative design elements and careful material selection, this desert oasis surpassed expectations, providing unforgettable moments of outdoor dining and relaxation in a harmonious and stylish setting.
