This pendant was a $60 purchase at IKEA a few years ago, but its bland light wicker color was too lackluster for this space. Instead of spending a few hundred dollars (or more) on a new pendant, we purchased three cans of glossy white spray paint (suitable for use on wicker) and gave it a good dose of white (allowing dry time between coats).
