The kitchen is dominated by a custom designed and built kitchen island hanging fixture. Those steel framed glass cabinets really do roll on the timber framework. Designed and constructed by Woodways, this Funky Contemporary kitchen adds warmth to this retro styled home. Frameless cabinets with flat panel slab doors create a sleek and crisp look within the space. Stainless steel appliances and brushed nickel hardware add to the modern and contemporary style of the kitchen. A composite gray countertop resembles concrete but is more functional for a wet kitchen area.

The table and chairs are the only part of this kitchen-dining room that pre-dates the remodel. The new kitchen of Lyptus and paint was to be brand new but not look it. Concrete countertops helped maintain the earthy look.
