This transitional kitchen design in Yorba Linda has a timeless quality that proves great design never goes out of style. The warm, light wood finish Woodmode and Brookhaven custom maple cabinetry with stainless steel appliances and sleek accessories creates the ideal combination of traditional and modern features. The L-shaped kitchen includes raised panel perimeter and island cabinetry, packed with plenty of storage, including a customized cat and dog bowl station that tucks away when not in use. A Cheng concrete countertop and custom backsplash design add color and texture, along with the Le Gourmet custom plaster hood and a black Franke farmhouse sink with a Grohe faucet. This kitchen gained several square feet when an addition was put on the end of the house. A door was located in the kitchen area to eliminate corner cabinetry, and create a streamlined design that fully optimized counter and storage space. The existing 3000 square foot colonial home was expanded to more than double its original size. The end result was an open floor plan with high ceilings, perfect for entertaining, bathroom for every bedroom, closet space, mudroom, and unique details ~ all of which were high priorities for the homeowner. This is an extensive kitchen/dining remodel that involved the removal of a wall and moving a large support header to the attic. The customer wanted a custom oak desk that covering the entire wall of their home office to match the new kitchen cabinetry, large pantry, and hutch/china cabinet with glass doors. The kitchen includes pullouts for spices and trash, as well as a cookie-sheet cabinet above the double oven. The island has an under-counter space for a large microwave and a stainless steel and glass vent hood for the cooktop. The floors are tiled with a ceramic hard-wood styled tile that is very resilient to drops and spills. All our cabinetry is custom made with 100% true-wood (no MDF of particle board), full-extension heavy-duty pull-out tracks, and European hidden-hinges.

The butler's pantry also features all Brookhaven cabinets in a Natural finish with Black Glaze. The patter of the same countertop material from the kitchen can really be appreciated in this space. The design allowed for deep drawers for liquor, bar sink and uses a 2-piece crown moulding for the wall cabinets. Wall cabinets all have glass inserts for glassware display.
