We tore down the owners existing detached garage inorder to build a new garage with guest quarters above in Long Beach Island, NJ. We created more private backyard space by moving the new structure forward per setback requirements. The owners now have a new guesthouse with a family room and full bath on the second floor and a master bedroom on the third. The roof is finished in fiberglass and serves as a third floor deck with views of the ocean and bay.
