Chi Renovation & Design
A remodel of this ensuite bathroom was needed in order to give it the natural, luxurious feel the client wanted. We increased the size of the walk-in shower, added a new shower seat, and used herringbone design tiles for the wall, river pebbles for the shower floor, and black and gold glass for the shower niche. We equipped the shower with a rainfall shower head, handheld body spray, and a skylight which allows warm, natural sunlight to stream in.
The rest of the bathroom features a floating linen cabinet, floating double sink vanity, three cylindrical lights, and dark brown tiles.

Overview
A new build house on the site of a tired bungalow.
The Brief
Create a brand new house with mid-century modern design cues.
5 bedrooms including 2-3 en-suites and a range of circulation and living spaces to inspire.
Our Solution
The moment we met this client we wanted to work with them and we continue to do so today. A space creator and visionary designer himself, we knew we’d have to come up with some new ideas and explore all options on a narrow site.
Light was an issue, the deep plan needed a way of pulling in light and giving a sense of height to the main circulation spaces. We achieved this by notching out the centre of one side of the plan, adding mezzanine decks off the stairwell and working in the bedrooms over 3 floors.
The glamour of this scheme is in the combination of all of the living space – not in large rooms. We investigated several colour pallets and materials boards before settling on the warmer and handmade aesthetic.
We love this scheme and the furnishing completed by the client…

A generous walk in shower makes the most of space and easily stores toiletries in a tiled niche.
The frameless shower screen with hinged door supports the light and airy feel of the bathroom while a dual shower with overhead rain shower and hand shower sit perfectly within the space.

The Rodd Point Full House Renovation by Liebke Projects.
Architecturally designed full house renovation in Rodd Point, Sydney.
This house was designed for sale, so it had to tick many boxes, the spaces where narrow and long so connection was important in the overall design process. .
The kitchen is no different. Connection of materials was important - Timber Veneer, 2pac Polyurethane in two colours, Pietra Grey Marble, Tinted mirror & Corian benchtops work wonderfully together to create a sophisticated palette of materials & texture.

A false diagonal corner section was constructed in the shower to allow the faucet to be mounted in the corner thereby ensuring maximum elbow space. It also allows for a feature "waterfall" tile design with wavy glass tile.
The corner shower is curbless except for a narrow metal lip.

West One Bathrooms Ltd
Our clients for this project were used to renovating properties and had stuck with a tried and tested formula when it came to bathrooms, so our Head of Design, Louise suggested products that were completely out of their comfort zone. She introduced them to a completely different design and concept for the 3 bathrooms.
The master en-suite was in the new extension part of the house. It had a small floor space with high vaulted ceiling so needed to ‘ground’ the design, literally! With wanting to maintain the original architectural features of this Turner style property, we wanted to retain a sympathetic nod to the origins of the architects vision – which we did with the use of Crittal shower, matt black brassware and coloured sanitaryware in grey for the basins and wcs which work amazingly well with the houses original metal window frames.

HUX London
Settling here from overseas, the owners of this house in Primrose Hill chose the area for its quintessentially English architecture and bohemian feel. They loved the property’s original features and wanted their new home to be light and spacious, with plenty of storage and an eclectic British feel. As self-confessed ‘culture vultures’, the couple’s art collection formed the basis of their home’s colour palette. Originally set over four-storeys, the property was tall and narrow with boxy rooms, which made it feel dark and poky. Custom joinery was designed in a myriad of different styles for each room to house the family’s belongings. The ceiling height was increased to create a bright, open family kitchen-diner, which leads to a courtyard garden. There’s a fresh, energetic palette, with aqua-blue and white kitchen cabinetry complemented by fashionable ice cream shades in the dining area. A colourful bespoke rug and contemporary artwork provide the finishing touches. Custom-made cabinetry sits within an alcove housing children’s books, toys and a TV, while further storage is concealed beneath a smart upholstered banquette. In the master suite, a corridor of stylish soft pink panelling conceals floor-to-ceiling wardrobes and leads to a stunning antique mirrored doorway, behind which is a generous marble-clad en-suite bathroom.
