ZERO9
The villa spread over a plot of 28,000 Sqft in South Goa was built along with two guest bungalow in the plot. This is when ZERO9 was approached to do the interiors and landscape for the villa with some basic details for the external facade. The space was to be kept simple, elegant and subtle as it was to be lived in daily and not to be treated as second home. Functionality and maintenance free design was expected.
The entrance foyer is complimented with a 8’ wide verandah that hosts lazy chairs and plants making it a perfect spot to spend an entire afternoon. The driveway is paved with waste granite stones with a chevron pattern. The living room spreads over an impressive 1500 Sqft of a double height space connected with the staircase, dining area and entertainment zone. The entertainment zone was divided with a interesting grid partition to create a privacy factor as well as a visual highlight. The main seating is designed with subtle elegance with leather backing and wooden edge. The double height wall dons an exotic aged veneer with a bookmatch forms an artwork in itself. The dining zone is in within the open zone accessible the living room and the kitchen as well.
The Dining table in white marble creates a non maintenance table top at the same time displays elegance. The Entertainment Room on ground floor is mainly used as a family sit out as it is easily accessible to grandmothers room on the ground floor with a breezy view of the lawn, gazebo and the unending paddy fields. The grand mothers room with a simple pattern of light veneer creates a visual pattern for the bed back as well as the wardrobe. The spacious kitchen with beautiful morning light has the island counter in the centre making it more functional to cater when guests are visiting.
The floor floor consists of a foyer which leads to master bedroom, sons bedroom, daughters bedroom and a common terrace which is mainly used as a breakfast and snacks area as well. The master room with the balcony overlooking the paddy field view is treated with cosy wooden flooring and lush veneer with golden panelling. The experience of luxury in abundance of nature is well seen and felt in this room. The master bathroom has a spacious walk in closet with an island unit to hold the accessories. The light wooden flooring in the Sons room is well complimented with veneer and brown mirror on the bed back makes a perfect base to the blue bedding. The cosy sitout corner is a perfect reading corner for this booklover. The sons bedroom also has a walk in closet. The daughters room with a purple fabric panelling compliments the grey tones. The visibility of the banyan tree from this room fills up the space with greenery. The terrace on first floor is well complimented with a angular grid pergola which casts beautiful shadows through the day. The lines create a dramatic angular pattern and cast over the faux lawn. The space is mainly used for grandchildren to hangout while the family catches up on snacks.
The second floor is an party room supported with a bar, projector screen and a terrace overlooking the paddy fields and sunset view. This room pops colour in every single frame. The beautiful blend of inside and outside makes this space unique in itself.

The shape of this house, located in a gated neighborhood to the west of Greater Buenos Aires, was inspired by a painting and its driving force was the coincidence of the lines dribbled by its owners long before getting to know each other.
On a trial-and-error basis, it was an experimental project where we sought to get rid of the influences of the predominant images of current design and the main aim was to search for internal and external sensations, sustainability and re-using of left-over materials.
This generates situations to be found almost constantly; the virtual relationship with the garden and its pond, with three levels, interacting with each other through the double-height glass at the different times of the day, together with the clouds, the sky and its different hues. The cross ventilation and the sun entering the room in winter are also significant.
The functional layout finds a solution, in few meters, to the needs of a very large family. On the ground floor, the kitchen, the dining room and the sitting room are integrated so as to offer a spatial continuity that makes them flexible from a functional point of view and visually larger. The half-covered garage, located next to these rooms works as a complement to them, becoming a barbecue area that may be fully closed. The finishes are mainly those of the construction in apparent conditions: reinforced concrete, wood, aluminum and glass.
The main construction system involves rigid frameworks, built by concrete and steel beams and columns, whose main function is to cover large areas with little material and to replace division walls by other items such as furniture, plants, panels, metal or wooden and glass sheets.
Thus, the rooms are filled with natural light and are offered an industrial aspect inspired by the origin of Lofts in New York.

The Indio Residence, located on an ocean side bluff in Shell Beach, is a clean, contemporary home. Taking cues from the Florin Residence, an earlier project completed for the same client, the Indio Residence is much larger with additional amenities to meet the client’s needs.
At the front door, guests are greeted by floor to ceiling glass with views straight out to the ocean. Tall, grand ceilings throughout the entry and great room are highlighted by skylights, allowing for a naturally lit interior. The open concept floor plan helps highlight the custom details such as the glass encased wine room and floor to ceiling ocean-facing glass. In order to maintain a sense of privacy, the master suite and guests rooms are located on opposite wings of the home. Ideal for entertaining, this layout allows for maximum privacy and shared space alike. Additionally, a privately accessed caretakers apartment is located above the garage, complete with a living room, kitchenette, and ocean facing deck.

This sitting room was designed for local celebrity Romana Robinson. Her request was a sitting room with a French country flair. Barrie and Ashleigh added burlap to the walls and nail heads to embellish the seams. Layering the room with artwork and accessories gives the look of a French country sitting room that has developed over time. The second space is a transitional living space inspired by spring.

The client wanted to update this Victorian Sitting Room into a calm and contemporary space that allowed their art to really shine. With the help of our specialist decorating team we came up with a bespoke concrete finish that was the perfect grey with enough warmth in it. The white woodwork in the room was actually a pale stone colour that was softer than a standard white paint.

The design incorporates a feature lantern and a large flat roof section linking the conservatory to the main house and adjacent buildings.
Our conservatory site team worked closely with the client's builder in the construction of this orangery which links two buildings. It incorporates a decorative lantern providing an interesting roof and decorative feature to the inside, and giving height to the structure from the outside.
Folding doors open the conservatory onto spectacular views of the surrounding parkland.
