This home was a blend of modern and traditional, mixed finishes, classic subway tiles, and ceramic light fixtures. The kitchen was kept bright and airy with high-end appliances for the avid cook and homeschooling mother. As an animal loving family and owner of two furry creatures, we added a little whimsy with cat wallpaper in their laundry room.

Dining room and floors throughout are engineered planks stained with a Fumed finish over white oak by Amber Floors. All cabinetry is a teak composite veneer which is very consistent and durable. This luxury kitchen is visually stunning and highly functional. The brushed limestone island serves as a prep area, buffet, and a great place for the kids to do homework while dinner is being prepared.
Alder cabinetry is fully customized for storage. Lower cabinet drawers provide greater accessibility and ease of use. Two dishwashers provide easier clean up for large groups.

In the design stages many details were incorporated in this classic kitchen to give it dimension since the surround cabinets, counters and backsplash were white. Polished nickel plumbing, hardware and custom grilles on feature cabinets along with the island pendants add shine, while finer details such as inset doors, furniture kicks on non-working areas and lofty crown details add a layering effect in the millwork. Surround counters as well as 3" x 6" backsplash tile are Calacutta Gold stone, while island counter surface is walnut. Conveniences include a 60" Wolf range, a 36" Subzero refrigerator and freezer and two farmhouse sinks by Kallista. The kitchen also boasts two dishwashers (one in the island and one to the right of the sink cabinet under the window) and a coffee bar area with a built-in Miele. Photo by Pete Maric.

Thse clients came to me for a kitchen refresh. Keeping the existing floor plan but updating as much as possible. After explaining my thoughts, they chose to go with a much larger project. The wall to the garage wash pushed bach 12" to allow for the island to happen. This almost couldn't happen as there is a support post in the garage we had to keep. I designed the last pantry area as on 10" deep, allowing us to conceal that behind the cabinets. Then, we opend up the wall to the dining room to make the rooms one large space. The wall to the family room was also openend up, leaving the half wall to allow for the kitchen eating area. They wanted to incorporate a bar area, without it feeling like a "bar" The fabulous tall custom unit houses their wine collection and then half of the dining room buffet area holds glassware and other bar items. I helped the clients with all of the design choices. We all wanted to keep the space classic, war, functional and with mixed materials. I chose to use the same countertop material for the backsplash, to keep the space feeling as large as possible.

To acheive the kitchen our client wanted we had to find room for the washer and dryer. A stackable set is enclosed within the bamboo kitchen cabinets.

This scullery kitchen is located near the garage entrance to the home and the utility room. It is one of two kitchens in the home. The more formal entertaining kitchen is open to the formal living area. This kitchen provides an area for the bulk of the cooking and dish washing. It can also serve as a staging area for caterers when needed.

Any space in your home can be transformed with the addition of bespoke fitted furniture. This contemporary loft study is a prime example, with the desk, shelving and storage all perfectly proportioned to become a natural part of the room. Open shelving with integrated lighting creates an ideal place to showcase decorative ornaments or treasured possessions, while the smooth, push-front drawers and cabinets offer privacy for storing your office documents.
A perfect demonstration of our bespoke approach to design, this made-to-measure study furniture has been seamlessly fitted to the eaves, as well as above the doors. Not only does this maximise the available storage space, but it makes the furniture appear as much a natural part of the home as the walls themselves.

This kitchen is home to two taller individuals who both use the space equally and requested a taller workspace to comfortably accommodate their needs. The island cabinets are standard 34-1/2” tall but the Iceberg countertops were installed with a 3” build-up to add height to the island. Cabinets on the long wall were designed to break up the wall of white: buffet on the end with walnut-framed glass cabinets and seashell backsplash; double refrigerators in a painted, distressed mahogany finish were pulled forward to simulate texture and depth on the wall; wide pantry cabinets with roll-out drawers sitting on the countertops flank the refrigerators. On the opposite wall, a new window box at the kitchen sink was built to add more countertop behind the sink and to let in more light, adding dimension to the room.
The cabinetry in the original existing kitchen was disjointed at the dining room entrance and made the room appear much smaller than it really was. To remedy this, the entry to the dining room from the kitchen was closed up and relocated around the corner from the foyer; 2 simple, stacked columns were built to highlight the new opening. These transitional style columns and wider room openings at the family room and dining room entrances provide an open layout suitable for large groups to mingle comfortably; family room cabinetry and dining room fireplace surround matches kitchen cabinets.

Dark gray tones are juxtaposed with bright shades of yellow, green, and orange in this funky and fun living room. Framed white windows emphasize the view while nature-inspired patterns and organic décor blur the lines between the indoors and out. A contemporary chandelier serves as a statement piece while a white mantel and stone fireplace create a strong focal point within the room.

This warm and sophisticated theater room began as a design challenge. Round walls with their acoustical issues needed to be addressed as well as the dilemma of how to mount a 103 inch projection screen to these walls. A custom designed cabinet grounds the massive screen while concealing the components. The walls were upholstered and tufted to give a cozy feeling while absorbing sound from the surround system. A platform was added to allow for additional seating in this elegant theater. The result is a fabulous room to watch a movie with friends and family.
