A raised planter constructed of bluestone wall units was installed as a visual cue, directing visitors toward the front door. The location of the planter and decorative urn provides a mid-ground focal point looking out from the living room window. The size and shape of the wall units tie in with the bluestone treads used on the new, multi-directional stairs and stoop.
