This dining room was helped amazingly by mirroring the whole back wall. Adding the black granite border and white carpet finished the flooring. Purple silk drapery cover the large floor to ceiling windows at right. I added the crown molding and ceiling moldings and elaborate custom moldings enhancing the boring folding doors that lead into the living room. I then painted the ceiling in pastels lighter in the center and richer tones in the perimeter. The wonderful very contemporary lite fixture over the table came later--we couldn't believe how perfect it was--repeating all the colors.
