Dining alfresco, reading, drinking & dancing is what we felt would meeting our clients needs. Shade for the outdoor kitchen, a sail shade for dining and an open firepit for anything and everything. Just the right amount of greenery & touch of flowers cozy up the outdoor space. At night the outdoor lighting comes on and changes the mood to party and go dancing but also allows for one on one intimate nights under the stars with the glow & warmth of fire!

We worked closely with our clients to select the varieties they preferred that would suit the site and keep within budget. This is the stone lined inflow channel during construction for the rain garden. This channel runs from the homes downspout and out to the rain garden. The rain garden is set up to take in and absorb the rain that falls on 1/2 of the homes roof and is sized for a 1 1/5" amount of rain in 30 minutes.

Aspects of Landscaping

The professional back garden design was provided by the client and built by Aspects of Landscaping in Rathgar, Dublin 6. This rustic garden involved almost 60 tone of materials dug and moved through the house. The garden was divided into two levels. the lower part of the garden was built as a sitting area. Aspects of Landscaping used flamed golden granite slabs for a smooth finish. the top-level was designed to be used as an entertaining, grass area for the kids. The main objective was to reuse as many materials as possible. during the excavation our landscaping team managed to reuse granite stones for walling, old ceramic slabs for the patio on the upper-level and rustic bricks for stairs.
