This beautiful victorian terrace with original tiled paving leading to the doorway has been reinvented with positioning of Corten steel planters. These were designed to create a modern and easily maintained front garden. The bespoke design complements the tiling and echoes the red rust colour of the original brick.

In this courtyard we added 2 raised garden beds with a small water feature in one alongside bamboo to eventually grow high enough to hide the brick walls. Merbau timer feature seating was added as well as new timber stairs that lead to the garage.

A compact garden in Portobello transformed after the construction of a new dining extension. The floating concrete bench provides the main focal point whilst a hidden set of corten steps leads up to an elevated seating area, the perfect spot to sip a G&T in the evening sun hanging in a hammock from the pergola. The reclaimed brick patio and lush green shade planting soften the industrial structures whilst a Siberian larch screen conceals a useful storage area at the end.

We refer to this garden as 'pretty in pink'. A garden with three seating zones, raised planters and easy management of borders. This garden was overgrown and not used at all by the property owners. The homeowners wanted a contemporary courtyard that was family friendly and modern. To achieve this, materials were chosen to match the stylish interior of the house. Also by using lighter coloured material we were able to brighten up the garden. The printed porcelain paving gave a contemporary modern feel whilst introducing added interest. Cedar batten fencing was used to clad the boundaries to minimise the oppressive feel of the high boundaries and to introduce more light into the garden. The cedar timber floating bench now provides a place to sit and entertain. It is also the perfect height for the clients’ children to use as a play bench. To brighten up the dull and dark corner by the french doors, the original steps were clad in beautiful blue and grey encaustic tiles to add much needed colour and interest in an area that had been previously neglected. This contemporary courtyard is now bright and welcoming and used by the property owners and their children on a daily basis.

Remplie d'une vibration zen joyeuse, cette pièce verte offre l'expérience d'un voyage entre Sichuan et Bali. L'admiration de la propriétaire pour les pandas nous a inspiré pour dessiner des lignes fluides d'aménagement avec des galets. L'eau n'aurait pas pu être omise; elle circule librement depuis une pièce en bamboo dans un petit étang avec des poissons et une végétation aquatique. Le site à moitié ombragé est dominé par des fougères géantes, des bambous parapluie et des bananiers. Un banc en bois fait sur mesure et un deck accentuent l'émotion "hygger" du lieu. Gardénias, jasmins étoilés et sarcocoques relèvent la palette avec leurs parfums enivrants. Transfigurée par un éclairage théâtral réglable, vue depuis l'intérieur et depuis l'extérieur, la scène nocturne fascine.
