Modern geometric nursery for a hip Chicago baby. This room had one main challenge - it was located in a rental unit and walls could not be painted or modified. The windows face a brick wall and the room begged for brightness and color. By using custom vinyl wall decals, color and interest were added transforming the room into a multi-colored, kid-friendly oassis with a modern feel.

The blush and neutral tones in this nursery provide a cozy and relaxing space for both baby and mom. This nursery was designed so that the child will be able to grow with the room. A simple and classic design.

These dressers were refurbished for the nursery to add gold accents. To get the "lace" effect, simply get some lace fabric, lay it over the drawers and spray paint them! Easy and fun DIY that makes Scarlett's nursery unique.

Lindsay and her husband Geoff have a new home in Washington D.C. and needed to transform the extra room in to a space suitable for their new little addition. I was excited to take on the project, using Lindsay's beloved childhood stuffed penguin 'Pengi' as a starting point for inspiration. With an arctic-cool color palette, some great Etsy finds, and a little elbow grease, the room came together perfectly: a modern, arctic nursery for their little boy August. Complete with penguins, of course.

The "Mystical Fairy Play & Nursery" project are two rooms that coincide with another. The first room is a nursery that will eventually turn into a big girls room when these twins transition. The second room is their playroom which will eventually become the other bedroom for one of the girls. In the meantime, it is the place where their imagination can run wild and be inspired through representational art. This project was full of color, vibrancy, and creativity!

Baby boy's nursery with a eclectic and colourful theme. Adventure, feathers and boho themed products come together beautifully to create a baby boy’s room different than your standard nursery. I was on a tight budget and most of the items where sourced second hand, handmade or relatively cheap. The end result is fun and the mountains reflect my Canadian heritage which I hope our baby boy will enjoy. Photos by Crib creative

This single family home came with a recently updated kitchen, but a cramped living space and obtrusive fireplace. We kept the furniture simple and clean with a Scandinavian bent, changed out kitchen pendants and stools to make it more modern, and transformed the adjacent room to a bright home office. We also created a sweet and simple nursery for their newest addition.

Finnish hunting lodge style added to Buckhead condo to create functional, livable space for a small family. Storage furniture along with collapsible dining table adds function to a small space design. Open concept space flows from one end of the space to the other with seamless style. Fresh paint lightened the condo while touches of distressed whitewashed wood and wallpaper add some texture and drama.

The "Wild Jungle Nursery" was a project we completed for a soon to be transitioning toddler. Our client chose a theme that their son could grow into and could also be educational. By using the wild jungle theme, we created fun decor that was interactive and soothing. We changed the original wall color, lighting, and used some existing furniture to make the transition easier. The nursery is one that can easily be changed to a big boy room, coming soon!

For this room, we wanted to spark the child’s sense of wonder with a Safari themed nursery.
When tackling a room that is the most important room in the home (as expectant parents would argue),
we wanted to ensure we found the right balance of ‘baby’ but not too much ‘baby’. For us, creating an environment that could grow with the child became extremely important and was key when choosing the decor + features.
To start off, we needed to inject some life into what was the small spare bedroom. The overall vibe had an almost
schoolhouse dorm-like feel and needed some love and attention. To do this, we painted the walls using Farrow & Ball’s Pavilion grey, which is a classic mid-grey with subtle blue undertones that added a contemporary touch and sense of spaciousness.
Using gold metallic elephant decals instead of wallpaper, was an easy way for us to drive home the safari theme
without having to commit to this theme for many years to come. We then paired this with a grey and white rug
to soften up the hardwood floors and added bespoke watercolour animal prints above the bed as a focal point.
