Cooperage series refers to the part of the wine barrel used for custom wine cellar flooring. Specifically, the top, where wineries brand the oak casks for identification purposes, is utilized. This wine room floor was laid out with the material, thereby acquiring a distinctly old-world appeal. Since no two planks are exactly the same, the flooring is a unique feature of the cellar.
It matches the custom wine racks, which were crafted from unfinished Premium Redwood.

Blue Grouse Wine Cellars
This small wine cellar was built for a client in West Vancouver using modified modular wine racking, constructed from all-heart California redwood.
The counter top provides a small wine cellar serving area. The countertop was constructed out of an African Mahogany ply which is a very close match to the redwood racking.

We built this custom glass wine cube to separate 2 different areas of the basement. This cube has its own lighting system. The racks are floor to ceiling metal racks, situated in front of the tempered glass walls. The wine bottles are prominently displayed which can be seen from either side of the cube. In the back is a ductless split cooling system which will adequately cool the space and keep you wine properly chilled and for long term storage. This view looks into the wine cube from the home theatre.

This is the core racking installed on the curved wall of the wine room. It was designed with a descending top to fit the slanted ceiling. The total bottle capacity of this wine cellar is 541 bottles.
Our WM3600 split cooling system was used for this wine cellar project under the stairs.

Vintage Cellars
2 high reveal display rows. Display rows are just one feature Vintage Cellars uses in their custom wine cellar designs. This style of display is very popular in custom wine rooms all across the world. The display keeps the bottle at a 15 degree angle, ensuring that the cork stays moist and that your wine investment stays perfectly corked, humidified and temperature controlled.
This custom wine cellar was specifically designed (side walls) to hold 11 bottles of wine on the bottom and a display row on top. This wine room then has a second display row and 11 bottles above. A custom designed walk in wine cellar such as this allows the customer to diplay a bottle and unload the case either above or below that display row. The wood species inside this beautiful small wine room is distressed and weathered redwood, with features including wine case storage, diamond bins, and high reveal wine bottle display. A small rustic wine cellar is the perfect addition to any home! This custom design turned a low key closet into a work of art.
