Forty-eight inch tall planters flank the green garden composed of boxwood hedges, masses of Rhododendron, and a backdrop of Green Giant Arborvitae that screen out the neighboring drive and house. Rhododendron beds were amended with peat moss for acidity, mature trees were fed, and deadwood was removed to improve vigor.
