This kitchen layout was modernized by eliminating the built in corner pantry and angular island shape and instead, installing a cabinetry pantry with roll outs and a rectangular island. The kitchen sink remains in the corner as it functions well placed here and updated with a white apron front style sink and modern, pull down faucet. The black island, handles, light fixtures and chairs are a bold contrast to the white cabinetry, quartz counter tops and backsplash. The existing hardwood was refinished to this beautiful warm tone which works well with the new finishes. The island stools are the perfect pop of colour!
