The in-frame design of Heritage Sage is transformed by the soft grey/green colouring that lends a relaxed feel to the solid American oak frames. Adding timber worktops and feature units such as oak plate racks adds to the natural look and creates a pleasing effect.

Adding color to this kitchen was hard for the client to envision, but she put her trust in Julie, of Point Design LLC, and now loves the boldness of the island.

Welcome to our latest kitchen renovation project, where classic French elegance meets contemporary design in the heart of Great Falls, VA. In this transformation, we aim to create a stunning kitchen space that exudes sophistication and charm, capturing the essence of timeless French style with a modern twist.
Our design centers around a harmonious blend of light gray and off-white tones, setting a serene and inviting backdrop for this kitchen makeover. These neutral hues will work in harmony to create a calming ambiance and enhance the natural light, making the kitchen feel open and welcoming.
To infuse a sense of nature and add a striking focal point, we have carefully selected green cabinets. The rich green hue, reminiscent of lush gardens, brings a touch of the outdoors into the space, creating a unique and refreshing visual appeal. The cabinets will be thoughtfully placed to optimize both functionality and aesthetics.
Throughout the project, our focus is on creating a seamless integration of design elements to produce a cohesive and visually stunning kitchen. The cabinetry, hood, light fixture, and other details will be meticulously crafted using high-quality materials, ensuring longevity and a timeless appeal.

This Cape Cod kitchen with wood countertops underwent an enormous transformation that added 75 square feet and relocated all three legs of the work triangle: sink, refrigerator, and range. To accommodate traffic flow through the space, the upper corner of the kitchen was made into a pantry/baking center, and the remaining space was used to create the work triangle. The look of the cabinets was kept simple, but small flourishes such as crown molding throughout the room and staggered cabinet heights add visual interest. Some of the cabinets include glass doors with grids that match the windows, helping to pull together the design as a whole. Jenerik Images Photography

A small kitchen needs to be designed by being cognizant of every kitchen item the client owns and when the kitchen is only 90 sq ft, this can be quite challenging!
The original kitchen housed a double wall oven, cook top and 36” range. Since space was at a minimum and the client’s list for appliances was extensive (range, warming drawer, wine refrigerator, dishwasher, ref) we had to think quite creatively. We also had 2 doors to contend with and 2 focal points to create!
The first step was to move to a 27” wide refrigerator, this gained 9 additional inches of working counter space between the sink and refrigerator. Opting for a 24” wide single bowl sink over the original 30” netted a total of 15” for a tray divider cabinet and 39” of working counter space between the sink and the refrigerator!
The new 30” range was positioned as star on the same wall as the existing cook top. Since the space did not lend us the ability to balance the cabinet doors sizes on both sides of the hood, we chose a door style that focused your eyes not on the overall size of the door, but on the vertical detailing. The subtle grain of the Rift White Oak further minimized the odd sizing of the doors.
(NOTE: THE COLOURS OF THE KITCHEN ARE REPRESENTED PROPERLY IN THE PHOTO OF THE RANGE WALL)
To help create a visual width of the room – we used a glass tile set in a horizontal pattern. Our ultimate goal for this space was to create a calm and flowing space, all appliances are fully integrated to enhance the visual flow to the room.

This kitchen is the soul of the home—an artful blend of beauty, warmth, and workhorse practicality. Designed with intention, it had to solve for a tricky layout, with three doorways and plenty of household traffic, all while creating a central gathering space our clients would love for years to come.
We began by reimagining the flow, carving out generous stations for prep, cooking, and casual gathering. A large center island—complete with seating and hidden ovens—acts as the kitchen’s command post. On the range wall, Fireclay’s Perian Star tile brings a jolt of joy and movement, playing perfectly against the stunning brass hood from CopperHoods.
Layered lighting, rich materials, and tonal contrasts keep the space feeling grounded yet special. Tedd Wood custom cabinetry is rendered in both soft Pumice and Sherwin-Williams Rock Garden—a pairing that balances earthy calm with playful personality. Cambria Inverness Gold quartz countertops pull it all together with subtle shimmer and warmth.
It’s a kitchen designed to feel vibrant and lived in, with details that elevate the everyday—like appliance garages, open shelving for cookbooks, and Brizo fixtures that deliver beauty in every function. Finishing touches like Restoration Hardware lighting and Cedar & Moss sconces help define each moment within this layered, luminous space.
