To this majestic early Victorian villa situated just off Wandsworth Common, we have had the opportunity of adding a bold glazed wing to the house, which not only increases the footprint of the property, but also contributes a fabulous contemporary twist to a house of genuine architectural interest. By restoring and repairing the original fabric of the building, and by adding this new glass tower, we have set up an intriguing dialogue between heritage architecture and contemporary technology … where the new meets the old.
