This young couple was looking to create a space where they could entertain adults and children simultaneously. We designed an adult side with walk in Wine Closet, Wine Tasting Bar, and TV area. The other third of the basement was designed as an expansive playroom for the children to gather. Barn doors separate the adult side from the childrens side, this also allows for the parents to close off the toys while entertaining adults only. To finish off the basement is a full bathroom and bedroom.

This is a new space in the client's home with the Vintage View racking system. The cellar holds around 1,300 bottles along with space for 20 magnum-sized bottles. The entire space is cooled by a WhisperKool which is mounted in the ceiling.

For a family that loves hosting large gatherings, this expansive home is a dream; boasting two unique entertaining spaces, each expanding onto outdoor-living areas, that capture its magnificent views. The sheer size of the home allows for various ‘experiences’; from a rec room perfect for hosting game day and an eat-in wine room escape on the lower-level, to a calming 2-story family greatroom on the main. Floors are connected by freestanding stairs, framing a custom cascading-pendant light, backed by a stone accent wall, and facing a 3-story waterfall. The custom designed wall is located in a cool, temperature regulated space ensuring the wine stays at an optimal temperature and out of sunlight. Each bottle can be located anywhere along the custom drilled base with solid steel rods giving each bottle a perfect cradle to rest on. This stunning glass enclosed modern custom wine cellar was designed and installed by Vintage Cellars. The Contemporary Custom Wine Room was fitted into an existing fireplace space, turning the visually unappealing sore thumb of the room into a magnificent show stopping centerpiece. This modern luxury condo on the 31st floor in a downtown San Diego high-rise acted as a very interesting project for the custom wine cellar design team at Vintage Cellars. The modern wine room space has dual paned, insulated glass but because of the nature of glass itself, the cooling unit was recommended to be oversized. The custom wine room space itself didn't have great options for venting the cooling unit due to the location on the 31st floor. The best option to vent was determined to treat the wine room as a wine cabinet, per se. The Cooling Unit, a CellarPro 1800 XTS, was placed in the ceiling, venting down cool air and circulating vented air back upward. The result works perfectly for a uniquely modern and contemporary space such as this. This fully enclosed, glass front custom wine cellar boasts a 300 bottle capacity with a sleek, modern, label forward feel that ULTRA Wine Peg racking is known for. The center section is a double stacked full reveal display row, showcasing some of the homeowner's finer wines. Though no particular space was made within the wine racking area, the design of this modern custom wine cellar was pushed back a couple of feet so that wine case storage could be an option between the glass front and the custom racking. Additionally, the clean feel goes even further upon looking for the entrance into this wine cellar. The flat panel on the furthest left side opens slowly and almost magically when pushed in slightly. A contemporary wine cellar featuring our own original VINIUM Architectural Wine Storage, built with wood blocks and steel. Here, VINIUM is backed by a white Texas limestone veneer accented with LED lighting, complemented with travertine flooring. The glass entry wall allows for a dramatic view of this clean, classic yet modern cellar.

Glass wine wall created for the Dye Clubhouse at Promontory Club. This enclosed display showcases an impressive selection of 800 varietals and vintages using stylish steel wine racks. This design presented a challenge due to no ceiling to connect the cellar to. The solution was the creation of a cantilevered fake ceiling that would hold up the glass. The wine cellar design fits in perfectly with the cozy contemporary elegance and architecture of the lodge interior.
