Custom wine room combines an amazing blend of metal display racks and custom, gray stained wooden racks to match the basement cabinetry. Visibility of labels and a minimum desired capacity made for a tough design process that in the end turned out as intended. Just as the customer envisioned. Immediately to the right when you enter into the room, we have constructed a magnum display rack. Each of the rows holds 4 bottles wide and 2 bottles deep per shelf. The spacing enables you to "show" the labels on the magnums and champagne sized bottles.

Inspiration for a mid-sized modern wine cellar in Seattle with dark hardwood floors, display racks and brown floor.

First & second floor windows to the right of the fireplace were blacked out on the inside to create a space for the new wine cabinets. Room definition was created by adding 14" drop beam to the ceiling and trimmed to match the homes current trim throughout the house. False beams were added to the ceiling along with rope lighting. The lighting was rearranged and the custom wine cabinets and fireplace mantel were installed. It all came together to create a grand yet intimate room.
