Located in Metairie, Louisiana, a suburb of New Orleans, this home was built in an area that has very high humidity and the moisture in the air can wreak havoc on most windows. For this project, it was extremely important to choose the right quality windows that would last a lifetime for the homeowner. The range of window sizes, color options and details provided by Integrity® helped achieve the exact traditional New Orleans architectural style while standing up to the high-humidity climate. The Integrity windows, particularly the floor to ceiling front porch windows, helped this new construction home blend right in on this gorgeous lot with mature trees.

Old Saratoga Restorations Incorporated
This project was a tribute to the vision and optimism of the owners. This once-glorious home was so far gone that many people would have taken the easy path -tear it down and start over. Instead, the family hired Old Saratoga Restorations to save every original bit of material that could be salvaged and rebuild the home to its previous grandeur.
OSR gutted the interior and reinvented it based on the archaeological evidence for this home restoration. They added a new kitchen and bathrooms with high-end fixtures, custom-cabinetry and top-of-the-line appliances. Outside, everything from the siding and trim to the dilapidated cupola on top needed to be replaced with duplicates.

Looking to downsize but still wanting room for their 7 grandchildren, the homeowners transformed this frumpy, sixties- style ranch into a fabulous, family-friendly retreat!! A breezeway and garage foundation was poured and framing of the addition began. A living room addition and double gabled roof line was added for architectural interest. Energy efficient, tilt-in Harvey windows were installed throughout. A new architectural shingle roof was installed on the entire house. The transformation is complete!

Little bungalow, built in 1928, needed a little restoration on the outside. Damaged shiplap siding was replaced with hand-milled redwood siding to replicate the old siding, Window sills, windows; doors and door frames were replace due to termite or dry-rot. The entire house was prepared for paint: sanding, filling in gaps, primered and painted with two coats. Such a wonderful home.
