We had an amazing experience working with Diego and Erin from the Brown Design Group. They helped us remodel two houses from the studs to a beautifully finished houses. They were with us at every step and decision. They always had thoughtful input on an array of points from accents to lighting to the layout of the house. Nothing was too big or small. No meeting too tedious - they were always available and ready. After about a year of work on each house, they would then ask us to leave so they could stage the house and have it completely decorated. Unbelievable. They really learn your style and taste and make the entire house feel like a dream. I don’t hesitate to recommend Brown Design Group and know we would call them again if another project arose.

My wife and I worked with Diego and Brown Design group to do a full gut remodel of our 5,000 sq/ft home. From the start Diego was the visionary behind bringing back to life our mid-century home, making it visually stunning and also feel like home for our young family. It was uniquely challenging in that we did not hire an architect, but put our trust in Brown Design group to guide the ship. However, what makes him even more special is his way of truly understanding your personal sensibilities and tastes, and then using his own keen design style and exquisite taste to deliver a look that always feels one-of-a-kind and exactly as we had envisioned it. He is also very considerate of costs; spending more on items where important, and recommending less costly materials for places where it wouldn’t make a difference. On a personal level, Diego and his team are warm, down-to-earth and make every project creative and fun. Not only did Diego and Erin come up with fantastic ideas - they were kind enough to make me think that those ideas were what I had in mind all along! They are creative, collaborative, enthusiastic and so fun to spend time with. I would recommend them to everyone!

We worked with Diego on our new kitchen. He came to the project late, but his input was critical to getting the finished look we wanted. He made sure the new kitchen and media centered blended into the old Spanish design of the house's architecture. They are efficient and responsive, a good choice for a design team. Diego also spent an afternoon rehanging our artwork throughout the house. He was fun to work with and created a whole new look for the art collection.

I'm thrilled to be writing a review for Ryan Brown and Brown Design Group team, whom I've known and worked with several times over the years. Brown Design Group, Ryan Brown, are perfection. Their sophisticated, eclectic, modern and organic style is a brilliant combination of one of a kind things, found objects and custom pieces. Brown Design Group goes beyond construction, paint and furniture - they provide a "lifestyle." Mr. Brown was able to execute our collaborative vision on time, on budget and in a stress free, light-hearted, professional manner. Our French/Tudor home was built in 1938 and is located in Hollywood, California. Ryan and his firm helped us update the house after we purchased it in 2013. His vast experience in design and construction was a huge benefit to our project because he was able to provide us with endless, traditional and innovative ideas to personalize our home. Not to mention, his industry experience and contacts enabled him to be efficient, effective and decisive, which made our working relationship very pleasant. Diego and Brown Design Group (BDG) were with us every step of the way during our gut renovation and transformation of a 1958 ranch home into a contemporary California ocean home.
