About Us

The practice of Landscape Architecture involves the planning and design of outdoor environments. Our firm provides landscape architectural services to individual homeowners, corporate clients, real estate developers, local governments, architects and engineers. We develop sustainable, functional, economical and aesthetic solutions for the construction of outdoor environments. Working with a small firm such as ours assures the client a “hands on” approach to all facets of project development. Design solutions are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner. If required, in order to fit individual project needs, the input of additional consultants can also be called upon to provide the client with a tailored design team that fits the size and complexity of any project.

Richard is the consummate professional-his design work is complete, timely and accurate-qualities that save clients thousands of dollars. His experience and honesty are a stand out in the field. He has lead the local chapter of ASLA, and taught and mentored many young professionals while teaching at Chatham University. I have never used the services of Richard P. Rauso, but I am a Houzz fan and I peruse the site often. Richard had a photo posted that I was interested in. Most times the professionals who have submitted photos are not as generous with the information about the products they have used, a lot of times they will not even take the time to answer questions. Kudos and much thanks to Richard for being so generous with his time and information without expecting business in return. This speaks volumes about what type of a person he must be. I have never had the opportunity to use Richard, but if I lived in his area of business I would most certainly be calling him. Thanks again Richard.

Commented: stop the invasionThe Liriope in this picture is a clumping type (muscari) and will not invade beds. You may have Liriope spicata. If so.... weed-wacking or close mowing will damage the crowns and slow the aggression.
