As a general contractor working on both commercial and residential projects, I need a versatile architect with the ability to provide solutions to various problems in addition to providing creative design concepts. Raymond is also cost sensitive to my client's specific needs. Raymond never overcommits, and I know he will complete a job on time the day he signs his contract. “Dave Piches was a perfect fit for my project. There are many reasons to hire an architect but mine could be reduced to one large factor; creativity. Being a contractor for the past 23 years, I'm not new the construction process and I have rather high expectations. Couple this aspect of the situation with the fact that for years I had attempted to draw the plans myself as part of a creative outlet but could not bring all of the aesthetics in place as a comprehensive whole which had any panache. After Dave met with me and my wife, he took the plans I provided along with the ideas we stated and created an entirely different design. At first my feelings were a bit hurt that none of what I supplied was used in the final design, but as I went through his plans that faded quickly. He heard everything we requested and then added "wow" which resulted in a fantastic design that intrigues all that visit. Every detail I had described and drawn was used but in ways I had not imagined. If creativity is the order of the day, you'll be in good hands with Dave Piches.”

“Mark was recommended to us by a local contractor, and he turned out to be great throughout the entire process. He did conceptual drawings and then the full set of plans for a major remodel on our Spanish revival home in 2009. We had alot of our own ideas and he respected them, all the while adding his own input and rolling it all together into a stunning final result. Most of the work centered around a kitchen remodel and adding a covered back porch and entry from the driveway. There was also a bath room laundry room, office area and dining room with a fireplace. He was very pleasant to work with (easy going, nice guy, etc) which helps enormously when you're trying to get the mental images of what you want on to paper. One thing still stands out is that his plans were so thorough and full of so many details. Very impressive work, and our project wasn't easy.”
