We started with a typical chopped up ranch style home with small rooms which he combinied into two large rooms with defined spaces that work for two or twenty people.”

“I own a small residential remodel company (Old School Renovations, Inc.) in Portland, OR. Marty has provided basic permit plans and full design services for several of my clients. Marty is as eager to work on the removal of a kitchen wall as he is a full two room addition. He has a great eye for detail (duh) and his x-ray vision comes in handy when pre-planning structural changes to a home. I never hesitate to refer Marty to a client regardless of the size of job. “If you’re looking for a very personable and enjoyable design process for your next home, look no further. After moving from out of state, we had purchased a view lot in a newly developed gated community and driving through one weekend, we stopped and talked to a neighbor who was working in their yard about their beautiful home and they recommended that we call the designer and gave us the number to Summit Ridge. We had talked to two others designers beforehand but after meeting with all three, there was no question who we wanted to work with and we couldn't be happier. The design of our home not only fits our new northwest lifestyle but its entire design was created around us. Each room was carefully planned out and is a reflection of our lifestyle. Highly recommended.”

“We're really enjoying working with the Giulietti/Schouten team designing our new beach home. When we were searching for an architect, we looked at portfolios from many firms and were struck by the breadth and creativity of their work. The combination of artistry, creativity, flexibility, practicality, and attention to detail they bring to their work is really impressive, and has resulted in a design much better than we envisioned. It's particularly impressive when the complicated site and extreme environment of our oceanfront setting are taken into account. We're very happy with the project and feel fortunate to have found this great group of people to work with! Follow-on now that the project is finished: Our home turned out beautifully. They were extremely helpful during the construction phase, helping us with the multitude of decisions and working with our builder to assure every detail was as it was envisioned. We were really lucky to have their team to work with! We give them our highest recommendation.”
