“I have a mountain home with a multi level metal roof and a large wraparound deck. I wanted to screen in a significant part of the deck to create a space with a tongue and groove wood ceiling covered by a metal roof that would blend into our existing structure. He and his firm were excellent to work with and supplied a superb set of working drawings from which we built the home. He also served as the Owners Rep for the project, and did a splendid job of cooridinating all members of the build team(Engineers, contractors, owner, etc.) to complete a difficult project on time and on budget. The details are cozy. We have window alcoves, which make the space intimate. The radiant floor heat is such remarkable; clean, silent and efficient. “Last year, we hired Mark Sinsky to design our dream home in Asheville, NC, while we are living in Houston, TX. Mark was very thoughtful about our desires and wishes for our home, while also being respectful of the property we had chosen and how to make the best use of all our spectacular views. We came to Toby with a set budget and he did an excellent job of accommodating our budget while also keeping the important aspects of the design in play.
