“They say it says a lot when a contractor hires an Architect to do design on his personal home, and it should say a lot about Skip. Skip did a great job listening to my wife and I dream up the list of remodel priorities we had for our out dated 60's waterfront rambler, and put into design exactly what we were hoping to accomplish. He was able to project not only his own costs in Architect fees accurately, but was also very savvy of current construction costs and kept his design in great relation to our budget. I highly recommend Skip's services and will look forward to our next great project together.”

“We hired Mr. Levesque to work with us on designing a major remodel and addition to our home. He was fun and easy to work with, and provided not only a high quality set of drawings, but an enjoyable experience. Our project included a new Kitchen, re purposing the space where the old kitchen was, a ceramics studio and an upstairs one bedroom apartment with full bath and kitchenette. It was important to us that this addition blend seamlessly into the existing home. The end product, fabulously exceeded our expectations, we could not be happier. He was skilled at helping us make informed and practical decisions during the design stage as well as the build stage. “AD Shapiro Architects did a great job for us designing our hardscape and landscape in our large backyard. We have two levels and with our large roof size (over 8,000 sq ft) there was huge drainage that came off the roof and needed to be absorbed into the landscape since it wasn't possible to drain to the gutter. Tony Shapiro designed a large French drain system on our lower level and we have never had any problems with water backing up on our patio. The hardscape and stairs were designed so that it was cost effective but very pretty and matched our home. The plans were perfectly drawn for our contractor to follow. Excellent job. I would use them again in a minute!”

“I was referred to Sounddesign Group by a friend and selected them after interviewing 3 architects. After the initial referral, I was attracted to SDG because of the variety of home design styles shown on their website. I didn't want my project to be pigeonholed as a "type". I wanted my design professional to be open-minded and easy to work with, and I definitely found that in Eric Terry. He is one of the most easy-going people I have ever worked with, but at the same time he gets things done. The process was simple and fun, and we got everything we wanted even though some of it required both Eric and our builder to think outside the box. It turned out to be a bit of a complicated project, but you never would have known it from Eric's attitude. His firm took everything in stride. We also utilized Sounddesign's interior design specialist, Kirsten, for some interior help. She was similarly delightful and easy to work with, even within my budget constraints and my desire to do most things on my own. The finished project is beautiful, and we had a great time during the design and build process. I cannot recommend these folks highly enough.”
