“I worked with Todd, from Openloft Design to help me take my home design from sketches and concepts models to full fledged Blue Prints and technical drawings. Todd completed everything in a timely manner and had some very helpful insights. Todd also took into consideration that I had done a lot of the design work and was willing to negotiate a fair price. I can't say this the whole home building process has been smooth but working with Openloft was by far the easiest part.”

“My husband and I couldn't agree on a paint color for a specific section of our home's exterior, and we went back and forth to the hardware store for numerous paint samples, which we spot checked in areas all over the house. It was a super frustrating process until Slate Design Studio stepped in. Our professional was able to provide digital renderings of the house showcasing a carefully selected array of colors so that we could clearly see how the section of the house would look in its entirety next to every other surface it touched and needed to coordinate with. Our professional offered to change colors as needed, or answer questions for us throughout the process, and he was prompt with his replies when we asked him anything. We were able to specify the brand of paint we wanted to use, and our digital rendition was tweaked accordingly, with paint colors and product numbers listed so that we knew exactly what to look for in the store. Suddenly the process was simple - we may never go back to our antiquated system of choosing colors. My husband and I have almost decided on one color we both like (the options he presented are really good, and one was a color we never even considered, but frankly like better than our own ideas) , and painting will begin in August. Anyone who needs a consultation for paint colors or design ideas would be well served in contacting Kinley at Slate Design Studio. This is a professional with an amazing eye and the customer service you'd receive will exceed your expectations.”

“We hired Hyrum to build our dream home on Pineview Lake in the Ogden Valley. Hyrum did an amazing job listening to our requests and offering his creative design perspective to create a functional and beautiful place. I believe that Hyrum's uniqueness lies in his ability to make architecture stylish, yet timeless in its design. Hyrum's designs are modern and clean, yet warm and inviting. They are traditional and cozy, yet sophisticated and functional. Hyrum knows how to turn a good plan into a great one with an eye toward aesthetics, functionality, and what works for your family. He knows how and when to add just the right touch of sleekness or whimsy to create stunning "look-at-me" spaces. I've worked with two other architects. “When I began looking for someone to design my home It was of utmost importance to me that the person I chose was going to hear what was important to make the end result satisfying. Justin did just that! He listened carefully to the ideas of what was important to me and projected it onto the plans that are now becoming my dream home. Justin’s professionalism and his courteous and respectful manner made this process seamless and enjoyable. Justin made sure that all questions were answered as to how the look I wanted was going to actually turn out, he gave several alternative variations for me to see what I liked best. He was also very patient and understands that this process can be overwhelming and always maintained a great work ethic!
