“Heidi was amazing from the beginning. She met with me first to understand what I was looking for in the addition. When she came to our house to measure, she was very professional but could see already things that I had not thought about in the addition. She submitted the plans to the review board and then came with me to the meeting. The board had a change that they wanted and she made that immediately. I was impressed with how well she merged the plan for the addition with the existing house. It was hard to tell that it was an addition. While she was making the changes, my son asked for a window in the mudroom and she gladly did this. I am so pleased with what she designed for us. Not only did it meet our needs of having more than one bathroom in the house, but she gave us storage that we greatly needed. Our addition included a mudroom with a half bath, a master bath and turning my closet into a walk in closet. My neighbors and friends have commented that you cannot tell there is an addition because it blends so well with the original house inside and out. I found Heidi very easy to work with as she was approachable and very considerate about listening to my family's needs. “Anne Rogers Interiors is a great design group! With over 25 years experience, Anne is creative and willing to work on projects large and small. We have worked with her on both. She is easy to work with; she respects your personal style and in fact, will help you determine what that is! She has an excellent eye for color. I have been certain I like a specific color and she will show me a different one with a very subtle difference that pulls a room together perfectly. Anne and her staff are all very considerate of your time and budget. She is not opposed to you looking for an item at a lower price point if that is your desire. Anne interfaces with contractors and other professionals on your behalf with confidence and competence. We are currently renovating an older home with a general contractor but have hired Anne to help us with design details in that home. She designed the tile layout, trim details and has advised us on many other fine points (including the actual layout of rooms that were being altered). Anne will visit the job site often, along with being the point of contact for skilled craftsmen like trim carpenters and tile installers to ensure the design is carried out. She works tirelessly to help her clients achieve a lovely end result and is adept at keeping them calm throughout what can be a bit of a stressful process. “We planned a significant master bedroom renovation of our upstairs that included adding a dormer, a master bathroom, raising the ceiling and adding windows for southern exposure and passive solar. The existing room was partially finished but with poor insulation and natural lighting and no facilities. We needed a set of plans that we could get bids for work and pull permits with the city. Josh Lloyd w Sym-Home came to the house to review the space, listen to our objectives, and took photos and measurements. Josh prepared 3-D conceptual layouts of the dormer options and the floor plan. My wife was particularly appreciative of the 3-D plans as there were options she had liked in the 2-D plan but upon seeing them in 3-D realized it was not going to work or look the way she anticipated. “Our house was built in 1936. As with most older homes in this neighborhood, ours was admired for its charming interior design, original trim, plaster walls and leaded glass windows. But the house is relatively small (1,850 sq ft) and the kitchen, though remodeled once by us, was still small and uninviting.
