“Started to work with this firm earlier 2017 on a 3rd floor addition project for a century old heritage home in Toronto. The experience so far has been great! The chief architect demonstrated in-depth knowledge in building code/zoning/building process/heritage constraints etc., which resulted in a smooth consultation/design/drawing processes. The lady in charge of the coordination and communication has excellent communication skills, and has always been quick to respond to our inquiries and address our concerns. The heritage committee had some special requirements on our initial drawing, and Bananarch came back with some smart ideas and got final approval from the city. Highly recommend! Bottom line is, if you want to hire a desgin/build firm whom you can trust, and who can take you through from A to B, then this is it.”

“We engaged Lindy Consulting to provide some plans to renovate the 3rd floor of our house which was an unused portion of our house which contained two bedrooms and which we were using as additional storage space. Our plan was to move our master bedroom to this space and add a full washroom. We met with Steven and Annette to discuss our ideas and how we envisaged the space and our estimated budget. They came back to us the following week with some preliminary sketches that impressed us. We then gave them the mandate to prepare full drawings and once approved by us, they managed the project from completing the drawings, getting them approved, and seeing the project through to completion. We were quite hands-on in the decision making but they truly took ownership of the project and had our best interests in mind throughout. Although we ended up spending more than we budgeted (which was as a result of our decision to upgrade bathroom appliances, flooring etc.), we are really pleased with the final result.”

“We retained James to help with the total renovation of our tired and low quality loft unit. Without hesitation, he attended the loft space, discussed our ideas as well as provided some initial feedback. He went back several times to measure up and also explore the space, where the light was best, the best placement of the bedroom and how we would most enjoy and use the living room. He developed a floor plan, sought board approval and helped us hire our first contractor. He also helped us pick out all the interior finishes. The result is a light filled open modern space with room to grow. Thank you James!”

“Our experience with Acadia Drafting were absolutely great. We wanted to remove part of our back wall and put in French doors and add in a new deck. We knew we needed a permit but had not had much experience with this type of work. Acadia staff came to our house and were able to create excellent plans / blue-prints. As a result of their work and attention to detail, each phase of the job has been painless and a great experience. Thank you Acadia !”

“Working with Heather was a pleasure. She was attentive to our needs and developed strategies that made the design, construction and process easier. Our contractor said he had never worked with a better set of drawings! As a designer myself, I always find that there are things I wish I had done differently as soon as a project in my own space is complete. However, this was not the case after working with Heather. We are so happy with the end result. We were fortunate that our work was done pre-pandemic. Having the extra space was essential.”
