“Gene was exceptionally professional. We were looking for a creative designer to help us build our home in an unusual residential/commercial setting. Gene's design included a floorplan for 2 storey's of residential space which included a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms and millwork throughout. His attention to detail and finishes is above and beyond. We were keen on avoiding box store finishes and Gene was very willing to help us secure options within our budget. Gene's knowledge of the construction aspect of the design was key and he was open to being on-site to help throughout the job.
I would (and I have) recommend Gene.”

Oliver was professional, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic from the start to the end of the project. It was a complicated build due to the different elevations of the lot (on all four sides of the house), which required significant thought and careful planning at the design stage. Oliver listened to us at every step of the way, no matter how big or small our wishes or concerns were, which made us feel like the end result was truly our home. He also had strong ideas about certain design elements of the house, which resulted in what are now some of our favorite parts of the house! Oliver worked well with the general contractor and tradespeople and any site issues were promptly and professionally dealt with. We would highly recommend Oliver and Six Four Five A based on our experience with them!”

“Steve worked with my architectural practice on many additions and alterations for the local school board over a number of years. So when I retired I was confident enough in his abilities to ask him to take over a residential addition project that was in the early design phase. He got the necessary changes to the zoning bylaw at the Committee of Adjustment that allowed the work to proceed. He also oversaw the preparation of building permit drawings and details as well as submitting the building permit application. He liaised with the owners and the contractor during the construction phase resulting in a successful completion of the project.
